A blast has taken place near the house of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Advisor and Member of the National Assembly Mubarak Zeb.
Bajaur: An explosion took place near the house of Prime Minister’s Advisor Mubarak Zeb in Bajaur, as a result of which the gate of the Member of National Assembly’s house was destroyed.
Immediately after the explosion, the authorities cordoned off the area and launched an operation, while no casualties were reported as a result of the explosion.
District Police Officer (DPO) Bajaur Waqas Rafique said that an IED material was installed at the main gate of the MNA’s house, which exploded late at night, adding that the Member of the National Assembly was not at home at the time of the explosion.
He said that the police are present at the scene and a search operation is underway to trace the terrorists.
