Peshawar: After the Kohistan scandal, the second big scandal of fake bank guarantee, more than 80 million rupees were paid to contractor without work in Ayub Medical Complex, that too through fake bank guarantee.
According to the details, a new scandal has come to light after the MRI machine in Ayub Medical Complex, more than 80 million rupees were paid to contractor without work in Ayub Medical Complex, the district’s largest hospital, and that too was paid through fake bank guarantee.
According to sources, the tender for the prefabricated building in the hospital was given for 16 crore rupees, while the contractor did not even do work worth one crore rupees and was released an amount of 82.4 crore rupees.
Sources have said that the contractor disappeared with the money and did not do any work. The contractor’s bank guarantee of Rs 20 million also turned out to be fake. According to the documents released in this regard, the project of Rs 160 million has now reached Rs 400 million. In this regard, it has been reported that the hospital administration has not taken any action against the contractor, although this is the second biggest scandal of fake bank guarantee after the Kohistan scandal.
