Yaz: Who did Saudi Arabia award the contract to feed Pakistani pilgrims? The Ministry of Religious Affairs has explained the news broadcast on the British channel Dawn TV in this regard and rejected the rumors spread on social media.
According to the details, the Saudi Ministry of Religious Affairs has rejected the rumors related to the Hajj arrangements and has said that the contract to feed Pakistani pilgrims was not given to any Indian company.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Saudi Arabia has declared the information spread on social media as baseless and devoid of research. The spokesperson said that “Baharat Asia” is owned by a Saudi woman, Fatima Al-Kaabi, and this company has no connection with India.
According to the spokesperson, the propaganda regarding the catering company Baharat Asia is negative and baseless, the public should not be a part of such baseless propaganda. Citing official records, the spokesperson clarified that the owner of the company is a Saudi citizen and the company’s legal representative and manager are also citizens of the kingdom.
The spokesperson added that the term “Baharat Asia” in Arabic simply means “spices of Asia.” The assumptions being spread about this name are purely speculative.
