Tamp: In a statement issued to the media, the spokesperson of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has accepted responsibility for taking custody of Assistant Commissioner Tamp, Muhammad Hanif Noorzai, along with his family, government guards and driver, at the Srinagar location on June 4, 2025.
The BLA claimed that ‘keeping in mind the human and moral values, the family of the Assistant Commissioner has been released with full security and sent to his home along with his driver and guards, while Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Hanif Noorzai has been handed over to the organization’s investigation team.’
The spokesperson further said that if state institutions take any action to recover the Assistant Commissioner, the responsibility for all the consequences will lie entirely with the Pakistani state.
Deputy Commissioner Kech Bashir Ahmad Khan Barich confirmed on Wednesday that Assistant Commissioner Tamp Muhammad Hanif Noorzai was abducted by armed men this morning while he was on his way to Quetta.
The headquarters of Tamp tehsil of Kech district is Turbat and it is a border area. The area shares a border with Iran.
