Sahiwal: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Sahiwal Police made foolproof security arrangements across the city, thanks to which all Eid gatherings ended peacefully and gracefully. On the instructions of District Police Officer Sahiwal Rana Tahir Rehman Khan, police personnel were deployed at Eid gahs, central mosques and open places across the district. To make security effective, checking was continued at the entry and exit points, while a close watch was kept on suspicious persons and objects.
DPO Sahiwal Rana Tahir Rehman Khan said that on the occasion of Eid, police officers and personnel remained alert and were present in the field to protect citizens. Security measures were self-monitored so that any possible danger or emergency could be dealt with promptly.
He further said that the protection of life and property of the people is the top priority of Sahiwal Police, and the police performed their duties on this holy day as an act of worship.
The citizens appreciated the security measures of the Sahiwal Police and expressed satisfaction with the peaceful atmosphere in which they performed their prayers.
