Sahiwal: District Police Officer Sahiwal Rana Tahir Rehman Khan has started preparations to ensure foolproof security arrangements during Muharram. In this regard, the DPO Sahiwal visited various Imambargahs and procession routes across the district and reviewed the security arrangements in detail. During the visit, he directed the concerned police officers to maintain peace and order at all costs during Muharram, and to make security arrangements at all sensitive places more effective and in accordance with modern requirements. DPO Sahiwal said that the security plan will be finalized in full coordination with the police, district administration and licensees. He clarified that Sahiwal Police will utilize all resources to protect the lives and property of citizens during Muharram-ul-Haram and no miscreant will be allowed to sabotage the peace.
