Karachi: Cantonment Board Karachi launches pre-monsoon cleaning campaign, work underway in several important areas. Important steps are being taken in preparations for the monsoon season on the instructions of Chief Executive Officer of Cantonment Board Karachi Raja Asad Elia. Under the recent instructions, the process of cleaning drains, sewers and roads in the cantonment limits is going on rapidly. Under the cleaning campaign, the drainage system in Abbasi Shaheed Road, Shaheed Mubarak Road, Hockey Stadium Road, Kala Pul and other low-lying areas around is being completely cleaned. Raja Asad Elia said on this occasion that the top priority of the Cantonment Board is public convenience and safety. All resources are being utilized to deal with the possible situation during the monsoon.
