Islamabad: The federal government has become active in bringing a new Delhi-style governance system to Islamabad. Under the proposed model, proposals for the merger of the elected assembly, council and various departments are under consideration.
The federal government is planning to introduce a new governance system in Islamabad, under which almost all departments, including health and education, will be merged.
A source in the federal government said that a Delhi-style governance system is under consideration for Islamabad.
