Peshawar: The federation and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have once again come face to face, and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has threatened to dissolve the provincial assembly if the federation imposes an economic emergency in the province.

Ali Amin Gandapur has said that if the federation imposes an economic emergency in the province, they will dissolve the provincial assembly.

The ministers participating in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet meeting have also supported the statement of the Chief Minister to dissolve the provincial assembly.

The cabinet, while giving all the decision-making authority to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, said that the federation cannot carry out any conspiracy under the guise of an ‘economic emergency’.

It should be noted that Ali Amin Gandapur while presenting the provincial budget, had said in his speech that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa budget would not be approved until PTI founder Imran Khan was allowed to consult on the budget proposals.
