Sahiwal: Dr. Asif Tufail took charge as the new Commissioner of the Sahiwal Division. Before being appointed Commissioner Sahiwal, he was posted as Secretary of the Planning and Development Board of Punjab. Upon reaching the Commissioner’s office, Additional Commissioner Dr. Saifullah Bhatti, Director of Development and Finance Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, welcomed him. Former Commissioner Shoaib Iqbal Syed was also with him. After taking charge, the Additional Commissioner in an informal meeting with Dr. Saifullah Bhatti and Director Finance Shafiq Ahmed Dogar, declared solving the problems of the people and completing the ongoing development projects across the division as his priority and directed them to keep the doors of their offices open for visitors so that public grievances can be resolved immediately. Earlier, flowers were presented to the incoming and outgoing Commissioners.
