Harappa: Signboards displayed at public places in Harappa and its surroundings pose a serious threat to human life and property. Sahiwal District Council turns a blind eye.

Recently, Sahiwal District Council conducted a mock exercise of removing signboards in Harappa, after removing two boards, reported to higher authorities that everything is fine, while dozens of boards remained in place

Signboards swinging in strong winds and gales during monsoon are clear evidence of Sahiwal District Council’s complicity: incompetence: or negligence, in demanding a notice from Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal.

The process of reinstalling the removed signboards at the public place Main Chowk Harappa Station has begun. Passengers and locals standing below are at the mercy of the signboards, demanding a notice from the authorities.
