Lahore: Teachers and teachers’ unions across Punjab, including Sahiwal, are protesting for their rights in Lahore. The protesters were holding placards and banners that read: We do not accept the rules of oppression. Pensions and salaries should be increased. Salaries should be increased by 30 percent. Our salaries should be increased immediately in line with inflation.
