Sahiwal: Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mahmood made a detailed visit to different areas of the city during the rain and reviewed the drainage work. He visited Deepalpur Bazaar, High Street, Jogi Chowk, Girls College Road Furniture Bazaar and other areas of the city. Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Sheikh Ashfaq Ahmed was also with him. On this occasion, he directed the concerned staff to remain in the field until the water was completely drained. Deputy Commissioner Shahid Mahmood said that all dewatering sets and disposal stations should be kept fully functional so that the citizens do not face any problems. He also directed the concerned authorities to immediately redress the complaints of the citizens.
