Peshawar: The first mourning procession of Muharram-ul-Haram has started from Imambargah Bawa Fazl Hussain. It will end at Imambargah Agha Syed Mustafa Shah Rizvi Mohalla Khudadad through its traditional routes. Mourners are paying tribute to the martyrs of Karbala by reciting noha and mourning. Strict security measures have been taken on the designated routes of the procession, while bomb disposal squad personnel are also present.
Police have cordoned off the entrances to the procession. The procession is being monitored through CCTV cameras. Sibils have also been arranged for the mourners along the way.
