Peshawar: The rank pinning ceremony of promoted Deputy Inspector Generals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police was held today at the Central Police Office Peshawar.
Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed decorated the promotion badges on the shoulders of Chief Capital City Police Peshawar Qasim Ali Khan, RPO Bannu Muhammad Sajjad Khan, DIG Security Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed, Regional Police Officer Mardan Najeebullah Bagvi, DIG Legal Irfanullah Khan, DIG Investigation Dr. Muhammad Quraish Khan and DIG Special Branch Imran Shahid, who were promoted to Grade 20. The promoted officers attended the ceremony along with their families. Additional IGP operations, Headquarters, Special Branch, Investigation, CTD, Training, Elite, DIGs IT, Training, Telecommunication, Operations, Traffic, Welfare, AIG Establishment and other senior police officials were also present on the occasion. IGP Zulfiqar Hameed paid tribute to the merit and high professional skills of the promoted police officers and said that they have set a high example of good policing by performing their duties with hard work and sincerity during their postings at various posts in their careers so far. This promotion is an important milestone in the career of the officers and is also a point of honor and pride for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police. The IGP said that promotion is not just a new rank but a new journey of increasing responsibilities.
