Sahiwal: Like the rest of the country, Ashra Muharram is being celebrated with great devotion and respect in Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Okara and Chicha Watani. Majalis and mourning ceremonies are ongoing. Strict security arrangements have been made on this occasion. Yesterday, mourners took out processions across the division, while Zuljanas will be taken out from various Imambargahs, including Aj Jagir Akbar Jamia Faridiya Road, and masjids will be held, while children organized a procession on Jamia Faridiya Road for citizens and mourners.
