Lahore: Pakistan is likely not to send its hockey team to India for the Asia Cup.
Sources said that the decision not to send the team to India will be taken, given strained relations and security concerns for the team.
It is worth noting that on July 3, the Indian government approved the issuance of visas to the Pakistani hockey team players to participate in the Asia Cup.
Indian media had reported that the Pakistan hockey team will participate in the Asia Cup. In contrast, the national team will participate in the Asia Cup in the Indian city of Rajgir, Bihar.
It should be noted that the Asia Cup Hockey is scheduled in India from August 27 to September 7, 2025.
