Kalat: Unknown persons opened fire on a passenger coach in the Nimrug area of Kalat district of Balochistan, resulting in the death of 3 people and injuries to several others.
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind confirmed that 3 passengers were martyred and 7 were injured in the tragic incident.
He said that the firing incident on a passenger coach coming from Karachi to Quetta took place in the Nimruz area of Kalat, security agencies, district administration, and rescue teams have immediately reached the scene.
The Balochistan government spokesperson said that the injured are being shifted to DHQ Hospital Kalat, an emergency has been imposed in DHQ Hospital Kalat.
According to a Balochistan government spokesman, security forces have surrounded the area and a search operation is underway. Security forces are pursuing the attackers.
