Islamabad: The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) Lahore Zone has issued a notice to Aleema Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, on the charge of anti-state social media activities.
Aleema Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, has been directed to appear in person at the NCCIA office on July 17. According to the text, the purpose of the summons is to record a statement in her defense from Aleema Khan.
The notice states that Aleema Khan is involved in anti-state activities through social media.
According to the notice, strict action will be taken against Aleema Khan if she fails to appear on the scheduled date, and it was made clear that legal action will be taken in case of non-appearance.
