Peshawar: There was no toss for the minority seat in the Senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. the Muslim League (N) announced its withdrawal in favor of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) candidate.
The expected toss did not occur at the Election Commission office, and the matter was resolved amicably. JUI’s Gurpal Singh was elected unopposed as a member of the assembly on the reserved seat.
Talking to the media, Amir Muqam said that we had come here for the toss, but on the instructions of the party leadership, we have withdrawn in favor of JUI candidate Maulana Attaullah Darwish.
