Flood situation in Chakwal, Jhelum, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, and many areas of South Punjab, cloud burst, and overflowing drains at many places

Islamabad: Chakwal/Sahiwal/Lahore Pindi/Okara/Pakpatan: Due to the collapse of a small dam in Chakwal, the 4,000-year-old Katas Raj temple of the Hindu community was also flooded with water due to rains and flood conditions. Water is accumulating all around the temple, while the Rawalpindi drain has overflowed. Roofs collapsed due to frequent rains in different areas of Lahore and three members of the same family died in an accident. Rainwater in Okara city has made life difficult for the residents of the area. There is water on both sides of DHQ Hospital. The roads are showing the scene of ponds, while in Sahiwal, Ghal Mandi Dispensary Road and other areas, along with rainwater, sewage water from the sewers is collected in the streets and alleys. There are fears that several people will die due to the recent monsoon rains across Punjab and the government has called in the army to help those trapped in the water and 10 people trapped in the water have been rescued in Jhelum.
