Peshawar: Aminur Rehman Yousafzai, President, Peshawar High Court Bar Association, said that the Peshawar High Court Bar Association, on behalf of the legal community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has expressed its heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the law enforcement agencies, especially Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Commander XI Corps, Peshawar, for performing their professional duties efficiently in these extremely difficult circumstances.
According to the Bar, despite the worst law and order situation, our brave forces have maintained their positions. The determination, courage and tireless work of the Commander of XI Corps is highly commendable.
The esteemed members of the Bar Association have reiterated their full support and endorsement of the steps taken for the establishment of peace and have expressed their determination to continue their full cooperation with the armed forces for the establishment of peace in the country.
Furthermore, the Bar has politely requested that when the routes are opened for general traffic, the movement of esteemed lawyers and common citizens should be ensured without any unnecessary delay from the FC check posts at Toor Pul, Bagan, and Balshakhel.
Timely and uninterrupted movement is not only essential for the professional dignity of lawyers but will also improve the public interest and the process of delivery of justice.
The Peshawar High Court Bar Association is confident that immediate steps will be taken at the administrative level for the complete restoration of the judicial system in Kurram.
