Dhaka: Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the first match of the three-match T20 series.
Bangladesh achieved the target of 111 runs for the loss of three wickets in 16 overs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Sunday.
For Bangladesh, Pervez Hasan Iman scored 56 and Zakir Ali scored 15 runs not out.
Apart from them, Tanzeed Hasan got one, captain Liton Das one and Tohid Hardoi got out for 36 runs.
For Pakistan, Abbas Afridi took one wicket and Salman Mirza took two wickets.
Earlier, the entire Pakistan team was bowled out for 110 runs on the third ball of the 20th over.
Fakhar Zaman stood out for Pakistan with 44 runs.
Apart from them, Abbas Afridi scored 22, Khushdil Shah 17, Saim Ayub six, Faheem Ashraf five, Muhammad Haris four, captain Salman Ali Agha three, Muhammad Nawaz three runs while Abrar Ahmed was not out with zero.

For Pakistan, Hassan Nawaz and Salman Mirza were out for zero without opening an account.
For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed took three, Mustafizur Rahman took two while Mehdi Hassan and Tanzeem Hassan Saqib took one wicket each.
The Pakistan team is led by Salman Ali Agha while Bangladesh captain is Liton Das.
Pakistan’s playing eleven
In this match, Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Muhammad Haris, Hassan Nawaz, Salman Agha (captain), Muhammad Nawaz, Khushdil Shah, Faheem Ashraf, Abbas Afridi, Salman Mirza and Abrar Ahmed were included in the Pakistan playing eleven.
Bangladesh’s playing XI in this match included Parvez Hossain Iman, Tanzeed Hasan, Liton Das (captain), Towhid Hardoy, Shamim Hossain, Zakir Ali, Mahdi Hasan, Rashad Hossain, Tanzeem Hasan Saqib, Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman.
