London: The Pakistan-India match to be played in Birmingham today in the World Championship of Legends 2025 has been canceled.
The organizers of the World Championship of Legends announced the cancellation of the match on their Instagram account, saying, “We sincerely apologize once again for the hurt feelings and hope that people will understand that we only wanted to bring a few moments of joy to the fans.”
The Instagram post said, “We have always loved and cherished cricket, and our only goal is to give the fans some good, happy moments.”
“After hearing the news that the Pakistan hockey team will come to India this year, and after watching the recent India vs Pakistan volleyball and other international matches, we thought of continuing the India vs Pakistan match in the WCL just to give some happy memories to people around the world. However, we have decided to cancel the India vs Pakistan match.”
According to the World Championship of Legends, all other matches will go ahead as per their scheduled schedule.
