London: A Passenger on a British plane shouts, “Death to America, Death to Trump,” and threatens to blow up the plane with a bomb
On an EasyJet flight from London to Glasgow, a passenger shouted “Allahu Akbar”, “Death to America”, and “Death to Trump” and threatened to blow up the plane with a bomb.
This situation caused panic on the plane, and the women and children passengers started screaming and crying.
One passenger plucked up the courage and grabbed the man and beat him up, while another passenger climbed on top of the threatening passenger.
The threatening passenger continued to shout “Allahu Akbar” even while lying down, and also shouted “Death to America and Trump”. He also threatened to blow up the plane with a bomb.
He was searched, and his bag was also checked, but no contraband was found. An emergency landing was made, and he was handed over to the police.
The passenger has been identified as 41-year-old Abhay Naik, a Hindu refugee from India.
Abhay Naik has been living in Luton, UK, for a long time and has now been formally arrested, and an investigation has been launched.
Police say that the motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained. The arrested suspect will also undergo a mental and psychological examination.
