United Arab Emirates: The Asia Cup T20 matches will be hosted by the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The Asian Cricket Council has announced the tournament schedule and said that the traditional rivals India and Pakistan will face each other on September 14 in Dubai.
Due to tensions in relations, the matches of the Pakistan and Indian cricket teams have been played on the soil of the United Arab Emirates for a long time.
According to the Asia Cup T20 schedule, all matches will be played in stadiums in two cities in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament will start on September 9 in Abu Dhabi, while the final match will be played on September 28 in Dubai.
A total of eight teams will compete in the Asia Cup T20. Six teams participated in the previous edition of this tournament.
11 matches of the tournament will be played in Dubai while eight will be played in Abu Dhabi.
The first match will be between the teams of Afghanistan and Hong Kong.
Group A includes defending champions India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and Oman, while Group B includes Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.
