Kutch: Firing has been launched on a railway pilot engine in Balochistan, which has affected the departure of the Jaffar Express.
The incident took place on Monday morning in the mountainous area of Dozan near Kolpur in Kutch district of Balochistan when it was near Tunnel 16.
Levies’ sources said that the engine was hit by five bullets, but the driver and crew were safe. No one was injured in the incident, and the attackers managed to escape.
The pilot engine is used to clear the route before the train departs.
Officials say that the engine reached the station safely after the incident, and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
