Sahiwal: The construction of the Cambridge School building in the main campus of DPS is in full swing. The three-story Cambridge School is being constructed for Rs 194.8 million, which will have 23 classrooms, 3 staff rooms and science laboratories. Commissioner Sahiwal Division Dr. Asif Tufail visited the school to review the construction work and check the quality of the work. Additional Commissioner Coordination Dr. Saifullah Bhatti, Director Public Relations Muhammad Aqeel Ashfaq, Principal DPS Akbar Ali, Vice Principal Cambridge School Momina Izad, Board Member Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah and Bursar Kashif Sattar were also with him. He directed the contractor to ensure quality in the construction work at all costs, and all the classrooms should be ventilated. He expressed hope that the Cambridge School will be a significant addition to the quality educational institutions of the city. Principal Akbar Ali said that O-Level classes were launched at the Ravi campus in September 2023, and now 165 students are studying there. It is expected that the construction of the new campus will significantly increase this number.
