Staff reporter, Daily Dawn, Dawn TV report

Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, the sister of the founder of PTI, has said that even if they arrest me on August 14, I will not get bail.

Aleema Khan said this while talking to the media near Adiala Jail along with Barrister Salman Akram Raja.

Aleema Khan said that today we had come to Adiala Jail for a meeting, we were stopped two kilometers away from the jail, Salman Akram Raja, Zaheer Abbas and Naeem Panjotha were all stopped, the purpose of not meeting the founder was not to get his message out, in the previous meeting, the founder had said that August 14 is the day of real freedom, the founder had said that everyone should leave their homes on August 14.

They said that even if they arrest on August 14, they will arrest me, I will not get bail, if they want to detain me, they will arrest me, if they leave one case, another case is prepared, our lawyer was told in the Supreme Court today not to talk about the merits of the case, we do not understand where we should go for justice?

They said that may Allah give courage to these judges to stand up for justice, they do not want to give this relief to the founder of PTI because then everyone will have to be released, the current government is afraid of itself, they want to isolate Imran Khan, we will sit outside the jail because the meeting is not allowed.

Aleema Khan said that Dr. Uzma was included in the case the day after tomorrow because the prosecution is in a hurry to conclude the case, no requirement of an open trial is being met, we were stopped two kilometers away and were not allowed to go to jail, if the meeting is not given, we will sit here today.

He said that August 14 is a day of celebration and everyone has the right to celebrate. On August 5, Achakzai Sahib came along with other colleagues. We waited at the roundabout near Adiala Jail until 11 pm.
