Lahore: The Muslim League (N) has issued a ticket to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s advisor Rana Sanaullah for the general seat of the Senate from the Punjab Assembly.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced the schedule for the election for the general seats of the Punjab Assembly two days ago.

The election for the seat vacated due to the disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Ijaz Chaudhry will be held on September 9.
According to the Election Commission’s schedule, nomination papers can be submitted from August 19 to 20, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will be on August 23.
Similarly, the tribunals will pronounce the decision on appeals by August 28, and nomination papers can be withdrawn by August 30.
