Witnesses refuse to identify Afaq Ahmed in the Landhi truck burning case

It is not known that the truck/dumper was set on fire on the instructions of Afaq Ahmed. We did not state Afaq Ahmed, the police had taken signatures on a simple paper, the statement of the plaintiff and other witnesses in the court

Karachi: The case of burning a truck/dumper in Landhi was heard in the special Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), the plaintiff in the case, Danish, and 3 witnesses refused to identify the chairman of the Muhajir Qaumi Movement, Afaq Ahmed.

Afaq Ahmed and other accused appeared during the hearing of the case of burning a truck/dumper in Landhi at the ATC in Karachi. During the hearing, the witnesses revealed in court that they did not register a case against Afaq Ahmed or give any statement.

The plaintiff in the case, Danish, and 3 witnesses, including the police, denied the statements given to them. The witnesses took the stand that they did not know that the truck/dumper was set on fire on the orders of Afaq Ahmed.

The witnesses stated that no case was registered against Afaq Ahmed, no statement was given against Afaq Ahmed, and the police took signatures on plain paper.

The statements of 5 witnesses, including the plaintiff in the case, Danish, and 2 police officers, were recorded. The court summoned more witnesses for the next hearing.

The court adjourned the hearing until August 25.
