Lahore: In connection with the by-election in the National Assembly constituency NA-129, PML-N Nawaz Sharif has handed over the responsibility of uniting major political factions to Khawaja Saad Rafique.
Sources said that Khawaja Saad Rafique was also instructed to reconcile the four factions of NA-129. Khawaja Saad Rafique has also met Hafiz Mian Noman, Rana Mashhood, Mehr Ishtiaq and Chaudhry Baqir on the instructions of the leadership.
Sources said that in the meeting, Khawaja Saad Rafique conveyed Mian Nawaz Sharif’s message to the league leaders. Nawaz Sharif instructed that all leaders should put aside their differences and support ticket-holder candidate Mian Noman.
