The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) has claimed that Muhammad Asif is to be paid at least Rs 10 million as prize money, while young cueist Muhammad Hasnain did not receive the prize money of Rs 5 million for the Under-17 World IBSF title.

Snooker World Champion National Cueist Muhammad Asif said that since 2012, I have won the World Championship 6 times and the Asian Championship 5 times, but I have not received a single rupee from the Punjab government to date. Players need financial support.

He said that I have a request for government support. I will play with all my heart even without support. My time has passed, but young players are disappointed due to lack of government support. This game is not easy; it is a very expensive game.
