Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has instructed the party to resign from all National Assembly committees and boycott the by-elections.
This was announced by Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan while talking to the media outside the jail after meeting Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.
She said, “Imran Khan has said that PTI should resign from all National Assembly committees immediately.”
In response to a question regarding PTI’s participation in the local body elections, Aleema Khan said, “Imran Khan thinks that we do not want these elections to be legal, but the PTI leaders should sit down and decide on his decision after thinking and inform him tomorrow (Wednesday) so that he can then take a final decision on it.”
