Two PTI MLAs, Junaid Akbar, resigned from chairmanship, and Sanaullah Mastikhel from PAC membership

Junaid Akbar has resigned from the post of Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

Junaid Akbar sent his resignation from the post of Chairman PAC to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Whip Aamir Dogar.

Sources say that Junaid Akbar submitted his resignation to the party after the political committee’s announcement, which had asked the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee to resign.

Junaid Akbar confirmed that he had sent his resignation to the PTI Chief Whip and said that he had submitted his resignation from the chairmanship of the PAC to Aamir Dogar.

He said that he had submitted his resignation to the Chief Whip as per the party policy.

Sanaullah Mastikhel announces resignation from PAC membership
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Sanaullah Mastikhel has announced his resignation from the membership of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the National Assembly.

Sanaullah Mastikhel said that the party members will hold a meeting and decide to resign from the PAC. PAC Chairman Junaid Akbar will decide to resign in the meeting now. PTI has announced its resignation from the membership of all committees.

After making the announcement, Sanaullah Mastikhel left the PAC committee room.
