Peshawar High Court restrains Election Commission from taking action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Zartaj Gul

Peshawar: The Peshawar High Court restrained the Election Commission from taking action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Zartaj Gul.
According to the details, a hearing was held in the Peshawar High Court on a petition filed against the disqualification of PTI leader Zartaj Gul. In this regard, the court issued a written order of the previous hearing.
The issued order states that the court has restrained the Election Commission from taking further action against Zartaj Gul.
According to the order, the petitioner’s lawyer said that this court has also heard other similar petitions for disqualification. The petitioner has also been disqualified in the same notification of August 5. Other petitions of this nature are also under hearing; therefore, a notice is issued to the Election Commission and other parties.
The court order further states that this petition will be heard along with other petitions of the same nature, and that the Election Commission of Pakistan should not take any further action against the petitioner on the August 5 notification.
