Islamabad: Construction of the National Memorial “Battle of Truth” has begun in Sector H-8 to commemorate the glorious victory against Indian aggression. The memorial is being built in an underused park that will be transformed into a modern and attractive public space.
The theme of the memorial is taken from the Holy Quranic verse بُنْيَانٌ مَّْصُوص (a wall of lead), which symbolizes the unity and unwavering resolve of the nation.
The responsibility of designing and constructing the memorial has been given to the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), while the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has provided the land allocated for the project.
