Lahore: Government resorted to high tactics: Punjab Police raided Jamaat-e-Islami’s Al-Khidmat camp

An attempt was made to forcibly vacate the camp under the leadership of Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab, Qaiser Sharif

Lahore: Punjab Police and the civil administration raided the Al-Khidmat camp.

According to the Convener Public Aid Committee of Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Qaiser Sharif, the Punjab Police and the civil administration raided the camp set up by the Al-Khidmat Foundation for flood victims in Chohang and tried to forcibly vacate the camp under the leadership of the Advisor to the Chief Minister.

Qaiser Sharif said that the Punjab government’s causing suffering to the flood victims instead of providing relief is condemnable, salt should not be applied to the wounds of the flood victims instead of ointment, it is extremely shameful for the Advisor to the Chief Minister to vacate the flood victims’ tents.
