Karachi: More than 25 armed men raided a factory in Ahsanabad Phase One and looted machinery and valuables worth a lot of money.
The incident took place around 11 pm on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
The accused entered the premises of their garment factory late at night and first overpowered the watchman, tortured him and held him hostage.
The accused easily managed to collect machinery and other goods from different parts of the factory and fled by putting them in several vehicles.
He gave details of the goods and said that they included 25 industrial machines, three valuable laptops and other goods.
The factory management is still assessing the exact value of the goods.
