Sahiwal Teaching Hospital administration cancels leave of all consultants and doctors in view of the flood, Superintendent Dr. Yadullah

Sahiwal: As per the instructions of Medical College Principal Dr. Malik Akhtar, a high alert has been issued in Sahiwal Teaching Hospital in view of a possible flood emergency. The hospital administration has taken immediate steps and cancelled the leave of all consultants and doctors so that immediate medical assistance can be provided in case of any emergency. This was stated by Medical Teaching Hospital Superintendent Dr. Yadullah. Medical camps have been set up in various areas affected by the slab, where full health facilities are being provided to the affected patients, and 50 beds have been allocated for the flood victims in the hospital, while all the necessary medicines, including dog and snake bite vaccines, are available in sufficient quantities. He further said that a flood facilitation desk has been set up in the emergency department, where the Additional Medical Superintendent (Admin) has been appointed in charge. The duty medical superintendents of the three shifts have been designated as focal persons so that facilities can be provided to the victims in the hospital day and night.
