Peshawar: A 20 kg flour bag reached 1300 to 2300. Electricity, gas, petrol, and river water belong to our province. We have never stopped it for Punjab, so why was a ban imposed on wheat and flour coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the orders of Punjab Chief Secretary Akhtar Zaman? Flour crisis is also happening in Balochistan, Sindh on the orders of the Punjab government, Maryam Nawaz and the Punjab Chief Secretary. According to the Constitution of Pakistan, provinces cannot stop any goods from going to each other. The Chief Secretary is working against the Constitution of Pakistan and is facilitating the wheat and flour mafia and making wheat expensive for the common man in the market. This is increasing the burden on the poor. In Peshawar, President of the Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fazal Muqeem Qazi and Chairman of the Al Flour Mills Association Naeem Butt said during a press conference that there is a demand from Field Marshal Asim Munir to remove Akhtar Zaman from his post and conduct an inquiry against him, who is promoting hatred in the provinces and acting against the constitution. This is the same Chief Secretary who first imported wheat from abroad and reduced the rates of wheat already available in Pakistan, sabotaging the local market and wasting the hard work of local farmers for the entire year.
