Lahore: The Election Commission of Pakistan has issued a notification to postpone the by-elections in Punjab for an indefinite period.

The notification issued has postponed elections in various districts of Punjab, including Lahore, due to the flood situation.

NA-129 in Punjab fell vacant after the death of Mian Azhar, while the remaining eight seats fell vacant due to the disqualification of PTI members of the assembly in corruption cases.
