Rawalpindi: On Friday, two women were arrested on charges of throwing eggs at PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khanum while she was holding a press conference outside Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where the Toshakhana case was heard earlier.
Aleema Khan, the sister of the founding chairman of PTI Imran Khan, was talking to the media when someone threw an egg at her. The police detained two women on suspicion of egging Aleema Khan.
Sources say that the women who threw eggs ran away and got into their car, after which a large number of PTI workers surrounded their car.
Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan said, “We are not worried if someone attacks us, we know it will happen.”
