England holds the record for the highest number of runs in T20 cricket among Test teams

London: The England cricket team created new history by performing brilliantly in T20 cricket. In the match against South Africa, the host team set a record target of 304 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets.
England opener Phil Salt performed brilliantly and scored the fastest century in the history of T20 Internationals. He completed his century in just 39 balls, breaking the record of his own compatriot Liam Livingstone. Salt remained unbeaten on 141 runs, his innings included 15 fours and 8 sixes.
It may be recalled that Liam Livingstone scored a century off 42 balls in the T20 series against Pakistan in 2021, which was the record for the fastest century for England at that time.
This innings by England not only entertained the fans but also set a new milestone in the history of T20 cricket.
