Sahiwal: The Angiography process will start from next week at the Sahiwal Institute of Cardiology. Advisor to CM Punjab Prof. Farqad Alamgir, Special Secretary Zeeshan Shabbir Rana, and Additional Secretary Purchase, Muhammad Anwar Bariar, visited the institute. Principal Medical College Prof. Dr. Akhtar Malik, MS Teaching Hospital Dr. Yadullah, Professor Cardiology Dr. Imran Waheed and MS Professor Dr. Ilyas Anjum of Sahiwal Institute of Cardiology and other staff were also present on the occasion. MS Cardiology Ilyas Anjum said that on the special instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Advisor to CM, along with Special Secretary Zeeshan Shabbir Rana, visited Sahiwal and directed that the process of angiography for heart patients in Sahiwal should start from September 23, and after that, the process of major operations of angioplasty and surgery will also start. In this way, the long-standing demand of the people of Sahiwal will also be fulfilled in Sahiwal. It may be recalled that former provincial minister Malik Nadeem Kamran and his son, MPA Malik Qasim Nadeem, had a special visit to Sahiwal. After spending billions of rupees in Sahiwal, the teaching hospital was completed, and now the Institute of Cardiology is about to be inaugurated.
