Double standard: ICC fines Suryakumar and Haris Rauf

Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has given its decision to summon Indian captain Suryakumar, Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan.

Indian media have claimed that the ICC has fined cricketer Haris Rauf 30 percent of his match fee, while Sahibzada Farhan has been given a warning.

According to the claim, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has also been fined 30 percent of his match fee for making political statements.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board filed a complaint with the ICC after the Indian captain made a controversial statement, on the ICC summoned the Indian captain.

On the other hand, Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan appeared before the ICC on the complaint filed by the Indian board on Friday.

The hearing was conducted by ICC match referee Richie Richardson, who asked both players several questions.

According to Nawa-e-Waqt/Dawn London sources, Sahibzada Farhan refused to admit the mistake and said that Pathans celebrate like this, the purpose of the celebration was not to prove anything to India.

Haris Rauf said during the hearing that I did not make any political gesture.

The match referee asked Haris Rauf what the six zeros meant, to which he instead asked the match referee to tell him what it meant.

However, the ICC rejected Haris Rauf’s position and fined him.
