Why is Khawaja Sahib making such statements now, on whose agenda is he thwarting the successful visit of his own government
Khawaja Asif and I sat together for 40 minutes waiting for the car, took pictures again, and also came back to the hotel in the same car
My return flight was already scheduled, and the mission protocol person himself came to drop me off at the airport

London: Shama Junejo, who participated in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly with the Pakistani delegation and has now returned to the UK, declared her inclusion in the delegation as the Prime Minister’s decision.
The government is facing criticism for including Shama Junejo, who was known as a supporter of Israel in the past, in the Pakistani delegation, while Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and the Foreign Office had expressed indifference regarding Shama Junejo’s inclusion in the delegation.
Dr. Shama Junejo has issued a lengthy explanation in this regard on the social networking website X.
She wrote that ‘I was working for Pakistan and the Prime Minister for the last several months,
My policy briefs, advice, and points during the Indo-Pak war, everything is part of the record and is safe.
Shama Junejo claimed that ‘I was given the task of writing a speech for the United Nations by the Prime Minister, and I myself was made part of the delegation, my name was included as a regular advisor, and my security pass was also issued in this regard’.
Shama Junejo further said that ‘I worked day and night with his (Prime Minister’s) team, I traveled with him, stayed in the same hotel with him and his team, was a part of his most important sideline meetings like Bill Gates, and whose footage was also shown on TV’.
He said, “Ishaq Dar and I were sitting behind the Prime Minister at the Climate Conference, whose ministry tweeted about me that I was not part of the delegation.”
He claimed, “After this conference, the protocol team took me to the AI conference where Bilal and I not only sat behind Khawaja Asif the whole time, but Bilal also kept writing a new speech. After this speech, we drank tea together, sat together for 40 minutes waiting for the car, took pictures again, and all three of us returned to the hotel in the same car. Khawaja was sitting behind me in the car.”
Shama Junejo said, “On the last day, I was also at the United Nations with everyone during the Prime Minister’s speech, where Khawaja Asif was sitting in front of me and we all clapped for the Prime Minister.”
He said, “The Prime Minister’s historic speech was not written by me alone; it was the result of our teamwork, and it included all of our hard work. My return flight was already scheduled, and the mission protocol people themselves came to drop me at the airport.”
Shama Junejo raised the question, “Why is Khawaja Sahib making such statements now, and under what agenda is he defaming a historic visit of his government? The Prime Minister should ask him because his authority has been challenged, not mine.”
