Staff Reporter, Daily Dawn, Dawn TV Report

Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Chairman Imran Khan, has said that the British Foreign Secretary made an offer to Imran Khan a day before his arrest, which was later repeated.

According to Aleema Khan, the offer was to leave Pakistan.

Aleema Khan said that Imran Khan has an offer, “The offer came a day before the arrest on August 4. Then the offer came. The British Foreign Secretary made an offer to Imran Khan. Mohsin Naqvi says that whoever made the offer should ask the British Foreign Secretary.”

Talking to the media outside Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan said that her main goal is to convey Imran Khan’s message to the people.

Aleema Khan said that cases have been registered against thousands of people on various dates, including May 9, and false cases have also been made against Imran Khan. They said that Imran Khan will not be able to be trapped in cases like Cipher, Iddat, Toshakhana or Al-Qadir again because the facts have now come on record. They claimed that fair-minded judges within the judiciary will surround the corrupt judges.

Aleema Khan said that according to Barrister Salman Safdar, the sentence in the Toshakhana II case can be pronounced this week, while the hearing of the Al-Qadir case is on October 16 in the Islamabad High Court. According to her, even if the judge pronounces a sentence of 50 years, it does not matter because Imran Khan has already been proven innocent.

She said that due to the deteriorating situation in the country, millions of Pakistanis have gone abroad, especially from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She said that employment opportunities are disappearing due to the lack of industries, while the courts are protecting corrupt elements.

Aleema Khan said that when workers cut a cake for Imran Khan outside Adiala Jail, they were arrested at night under old FIRs. He added that the Toshakhana case is to be heard in the Islamabad High Court tomorrow, but it is possible that the judges will not be able to hold the hearing.
