Islamabad: The resignation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has become a mystery, while the Governor’s House and PTI sources have made conflicting claims in this regard.

Sources from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat said that we had sent the resignation to the Governor’s House yesterday, and now it is the job of the Governor’s House to take further action on the resignation of the Chief Minister.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has denied receiving Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, while talking to the media in Islamabad, said that I have not received the official resignation of the Chief Minister. When the resignation comes, I will take action according to the law.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that the Military Secretary receiving the resignation is fake news.

Reacting to this situation, PTI senior leader Sheikh Waqas Akram shared a copy of Ali Amin’s resignation received from the Governor’s House, the Governor’s House staff received the resignation at 10:57 pm.

Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had received Ali Amin’s resignation last night, after coordination with the Governor’s MS, the Governor’s House staff received the resignation at 11:45 pm last night.

Ali Amin Gandapur wrote in his resignation that he was leaving the Chief Ministership in compliance with the order of Quaid Imran Khan. The Chief Ministership was an honor for me. I resigned on the decision of the leadership. When I assumed office, the province was facing serious challenges of financial crisis and terrorism.

He wrote that in one and a half years, he led the province on the path of financial stability, took bold and courageous steps against terrorism, and started major development projects in the province under the guidance of Imran Khan.

Gandapur wrote that he is grateful to Imran Khan, party workers, cabinet members, party assembly members and the bureaucracy. Despite all the challenges, he served the people sincerely. I have always made decisions in the interest of Pakistan.

At the end of his resignation, he also wrote: Long live Pakistan, long live Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
