Sahiwal: Train march to start from Peshawar and end in Karachi. This train march aims to give regional journalists the place they deserve. Education, health and other basic facilities are their right for the children of journalists.
President of the Regional Union of Journalists, Sahiwal, Chaudhry Najeeb Ahmed presided over the meeting, and General Secretary RUJ Abid Mughal was the special guest of the event.

Today, we have gathered here not just for a meeting, but to renew a pledge for the pledge of journalism, the pledge of truth, and the pledge of justice.

On November 5, the Regional Union of Journalists is going to take an important step in its history – a train march.

This march is not just a journey; it is the voice of our regional journalists, who are rising against the issues, lack of resources, and insecurity that have been ignored for years.
We want journalists, whether they are in Lahore or Sahiwal, Bahawalnagar or Khanewal, to get equal opportunities, facilities, and respect.
We want local journalists standing on the front lines of journalism to be given their rightful place.
We demand that the government of the day, institutions, and journalistic organizations recognize the rights of regional journalists, open the doors of protection, training, and development for them.
We are on the path of truth, and the path of truth is never easy, but we are determined that
“The pen will not bend, and the truth will not be suppressed.”
We appeal to all our colleagues to make the November 5th train march a historic day —
This march is not just a journey, but our voice, our right, and our future.
May Allah grant us unity, perseverance, and success.
